In 2006, a group of astronomers working on the SWEEPS program announced the discovery of a planet, named SWEEPS-11, in this system. The planet is a gas giant, who is extremely close to the parent star at just 0.03 AU. It is classified as a Hot Jupiter. At a distance of 27,700 light years, it is one of the most distant planets ever found.
