SWEEPS-10 is an unconfirmed Hot Jupiter planet orbiting the star SWEEPS J175902.00-291323.7 every 0.424 Earth days (10.17 hours). At the time of its discovery, it had the shortest orbital period of any known planet, until the discovery of PSR J1719-1436 b in 2011. This planet is located in the galactic bulge. It is referred to as a "ultra-short period planet" (USPP). The planet is approximately 1923 K (1650 °C; 3002 °F). The planet orbits 3 times closer to its star than the Moon does to Earth.
