PA-99-N2 b is an unconfirmed extragalactic planet orbiting the red giant star PA-99-N2. It is located 2,185,247 light years (670,000 parsecs) away from Earth in the Andromeda Galaxy. If the planet is confirmed, it would be the first planet discovered in another galaxy, and the furthest extrasolar planet ever found, far exceeding both SWEEPS-04 and SWEEPS-11, the most distant exoplanets ever found, both located 27,710 light years (8,495 parsecs) away.
The planet has a mass of around 6.34 Jupiter masses, which would make the planet a giant planet.
