Kepler-10b is an Extrasolar planet in the Kepler-10 system. It is the first confirmed Terrestrial planet made by the Kepler Mission, run by NASA. It‘s job is to track down any Earth-like Planets orbiting other Stars. The planet after Kepler-10b is Kepler-10c.
Kepler-10b orbits Kepler-10 very in a very close Orbit, meaning that it is very hot and that it orbits Kepler-10 very quickly, only in 20 hours. Kepler-10 is bigger than the Earth, and tidally locked. Kepler-10b is 560 light years from the Solar System.
