Ingenuity is a helicopter that landed on Mars on February 18, 2021 with the rover Perseverance. It launched in July 30, 2020 from Cape Canaveral, Florida. It is part of NASA’s Mars 2020 mission. It is strapped to the bottom of Perseverance until it is ready to fly. It is a tech demo to demonstrate that you can fly on other planets. It still has color cameras, however.
