Kepler-78 currently has a planetary system, with currently one known planet, Kepler-78b. Kepler-78b is a planet slightly bigger than Earth which an orbit that is extremely close to its parent star. The orbital period of this planet is about 8.5 hours, because of its proximity to the star.
