Dysnomia is the only known Eris. It is named after the daughter of the Greek god Eris. It is the second largest known moon of a Dwarf planet, after Pluto‘s moon Charon. It orbits in a nearly circular plane around Eris, and is among the twenty largest Trans-Neptunian objects.
