Cha 110913-773444 (also sometimes called "Cha 110913") is a planetary-mass object located around 529 light years (162 parsecs) away from Earth in the constellation Chamaeleon. The object is surrounded by what appears to be a protoplanetary disk. As of now, there is no consensus yet amongst astronomers on whether to classify the object as a sub-brown dwarf with planets, or a rogue planet with moons.
The object was discovered in 2004 by Kevin Luhman and several others at the Pennsylvania State University, using the Spitzer Space Telescope and the Hubble Space Telescope, as well as two Earth-bound telescopes in Chile.
