Arp 273[]
Arp 273 is a pair of interacting galaxies in the constellation of Andromeda. It was first described in the Atlas of Peculiar Galaxies in 1966. It is nicknamed the "Rose Galaxies" because it's shaped like a rose, with the distorted spiral galaxy on top and a smaller galaxy on the bottom, representing a stem. The two galaxies are UGC 1810 and UGC 1813.
Evolution[]
The galaxy was thought to be formed by UGC 1813 passed through UGC 1810, making UGC 1810's disk distorted.
