- June 28th, 2022: NASA's CAPSTONE lunar orbiter successfully launches.

- August 4th, 2022: South Korean lunar orbiter Danuri is successfully led out of the atmosphere by a Falcon 9 rocket.

- September 26th, 2022: The DART mission successfully impacts Dimorphos, a minor planet-moon of the binary asteroid system 65803 Didymos
- September 29th, 2022: A flyby of Europa is completed by the Juno spacecraft.

- October 3rd, 2022: The Indian Space Research Organization declares an end to their failed spacecraft Mangalyaan.
November[]
- November 14th, 2022: NASA's CAPSTONE lunar orbiter successfully arrives in lunar orbit.
- November 16th, 2022: NASA's Artemis 1 successfully launches.
December[]
- December 11th, 2022: Danuri successfully
- December 13th, 2022: NASA's Artemis 1 makes a successful landing in the Pacific Ocean.
- December 15th, 2022: The InSight rover loses communications, as later announced on the 20th. The end of the mission is declared the following day.
