14 Andromedae is an orange giant star, located approximately 258 light-years away from Earth. This star is speculated to be a variable star. It is located in the constellation of Andromeda. In 2008, an extrasolar planet named 14 Andromedae b was found orbiting around the star. This is one of the few planets discovered to be orbiting around an evolved intermediate-mass star.
