109 Piscium is a yellow hued G-type main-sequence star, located around 106 light years away from Earth in the constellation Pisces. 109 Piscium has a similar mass to our Sun, having about 1.11 times the Sun's mass, but having 1.91 times the Sun's radius, or about a 91% largre radius, and has a higher abundance of iron. It is approximately 6.75 billion years old.

The star is moving closer to the Earth with a heliocentric radial velocity of -45.5 km/s. It has known exoplanet that was discovered in 1999.

Planetary system[]

On Nevember 1, 1999, an extrasolar planet orbiting the star was announced. The planet is a gas giant with a minimum mass of more than 6 times that of Jupiter.
